Playtime

The farm has plenty of places to play with lots of equipment, all designed for 1-8 year olds, with no high slides or big jumps. The two extensive playgrounds are very exciting with spider nets, an aerial runway, rope bridges, castles , a sand pit, scramble nets, a boat, an aeroplane and Fort Horton, Aswell as the recent jumping pillow and new for 2008 which has recently opened, snakes and ladders a big climbing frame with lots of ladders and slides to explore, and if that hasn’t worn them out, they can run around the woodland maze, which is cleverly designed for this age group; small enough not to get lost but big enough to be mysterious.

And for the not-so-nice weather, the indoor play barn (80p extra) is enormous and great fun. There are three separate ball pools along with slides, cubes, tunnels, bridges, steps, ramps, houses and a miniature car track. There is a separate area for the toddlers and even the babies have their own play pens filled with balls and rattles. Also under cover, there is a small sandpit; two little maze houses, a straw pit and some ride-on toys.
